CERTIFICATION AND TITLE OF THE PROGRAMME

The certificate to be awarded and the program title shall read: "NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN MASS COMMUNICATION".

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:

The National Diploma program in Mass Communication is designed to produce skilled communication professionals capable of managing media operations, producing creative content, and delivering impactful communication in various industries.

On the completion of this program, the diplomate should be able to:

  • 1. Understand the principles and ethics of journalism and mass communication.
  • 2. Develop skills in writing, editing, and producing media content for print, broadcast, and online platforms.
  • 3. Manage communication campaigns and strategies in public relations and advertising.
  • 4. Operate modern media equipment and software effectively.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants with credit passes in English, Literature in English, and any two other relevant subjects in WAEC, SSCE, GCE, or NECO and who have attempted UTME JAMB are eligible for admission.
